The first job was to strip the car down to a shell, so they boys got busy and started stripping the car down, removing the engine, transmission and complete driveline. Once that was completed the exterior components like bumbpers, grille and headlights, rear bars, tail light assemblys were all removed. Then the interior was next with removal of the seats, console, steering colum and dash. Carpets were all removed along with door trims.

The old vinyl roof was removed and with all mouldings and trim pieces. All the suspension and steering components were removed and assigned the the recyling bin. All the panles were removed carefully as panels for Cuda's can be very hard to find. All other components in the engine bay were removed as well as underneath the car in and in the boot. Now stiting on the floor is one Barracuda body shell. Now it was time to send the body off the the bead blasters for them to blast all the old paint off the car, and for the boy's to see what the metal was like underneath.
