The next step in the project was to give the roof the once over. The boys got the roof sand blasted, to reveal some ageing which needed to be repaired. A section that just couldn't be fixed was cut out and replaced with some new metal, then welded into place then filed. Some repairs were needed where the roof meets the quater panel, which had sections cut out and replaced. It was all filled in then finished to give a smooth finish. The same was done to the front of the roof were it meets the A-pillars.
