Once the shell had been bead blasted, it was back at Hi-Class for some body massaging. Now that the paint is all off, the signs of aging are starting to show. Rusted panels were replaced or repaired to bring the body up show standard. Blinkers were removed and panels filled to give the Cuda a clean and flowing look. The process of file finishing will be employed on the body to give it a seamless finish and to ensure that little or no filler will be used. All hand crafted makes for a high quailty job.
Once all the paint was removed, aging was evendent. There is going to be some body massaging to get this car a smooth look, so the boys started chopping out sections that would not hold up to the challenge and replaced them with new metal. Once all the pacth work had been completed, some body filing was done to smoothen out the lumps and to get King Kong straight and smooth. One of the new Billet Specialties Wheels was put under the rear guard to give a preview of what the Cuda will look like when completed.
