With the emphasis on modern technology Graeme wanted the reliablity and smothness of EFI. Although the final EFI system will be custom made MSD has supplied some of the components that will be used in the final setup. We will keep you posted on the EFI setup as it progresses.

PRO-BILLET THROTTLE BODY
Sure it looks like a trick carburetor, but this Throttle Body doesn’t monitor any fuel – only the delivery of the air flowing into the engine. Air flow into the intake manifold is just as important as the fuel being injected into the engine. The continuous flow of air must meet the demands of rpm in order to create the correct air/ fuel ratio to enter the combustion chamber. This new Pro-Billet Throttle Body is designed to produce smooth, stable air flow at any rpm. The entire throttle body begins as a billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and is introduced to a state-of-the-art CNC machine. From here it is precisely machined resulting in overall accuracy to within 0.001”! The air inlets are formed with radiused openings to supply a smooth entrance for the air. The two sets of throttle blades are arranged to open towards the center to keep the airflow equal and continuous. The housing is fit with five vacuum ports and accepts a standard size air cleaner base. The Throttle Body is supplied with an accurate Throttle Position Sensor and Idle Air Control motor. It fits standard four barrel, spread bore intake manifolds.

COMPETITION INJECTORS
MSD produce a range of fuel injectors for direct replacment and competition applications. Some of MSD's Competition Fuel Injectors can be used with the factory electronic control modules.

PRO-BILLET READY-TO-RUN PART NO: MSD8546
The Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run distributor is the perfect upgrade for outdated points distributors or bulky HEI's. All that is required is to install the distributor in the engine, connect three wires and the coil! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition. The increased output of the amplifier easily outperforms stock ignitions and will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting and provide a much higher rpm range. For stability and endurance, an oversized steel shaft spins in a top mounted sealed ball bearing while an extra long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing. This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for low friction wear and resistance against corrosion from humidity and ozone buildup. The Ready-to-Run features MSD's adjustable mechanical advance which allows you to custom tailor an ignition curve to match your engine's needs. There is also a vacuum advance canister to help improve economy. For positive street performance, the Readyto-Run is the best choice.

8.5mm Super Conductor Wire
The MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Wire is the ultimate performance plug wire. The wire's extremely low resistance with high Electro Magnetic Interference suppression is a combination that defies the common laws of physics. Less resistance means more energy is delivered to the plugs which helps burn the fuel mixture completely and complete combustion means more power. With less than 50 ohms per foot, the 8.5mm wire is capable of delivering 30 times more spark energy to the plug over most OEM wires! Many different custom length sets are available as well as universal sets that you custom tailor to match your application. Flying Magnet Crank Trigger Kits
For a long time, racers have known that one of the best things to do to an engine to improve its performance is to stabilize the ignition timing. The MSD Flying Magnet Crank Trigger system does exactly that by using four magnets embedded in an aluminum wheel. The MSD Flying Magnet Crank Trigger uses four magnets secured in the aluminum trigger wheel that pass by a stationary non-magnetic pickup to trigger the ignition. This "flying magnet" design produces accurate trigger signals and the non-magnetic pickup cannot be false triggered. These systems will trigger MSD 6, 7, 8 and 10 Series Ignitions and all MSD Timing Accessories. Univeral Kits also available.
