Baer 6S & 6R Billet Aluminium MonoBlock Calipers

Baer's MonoBlock caliper line makes today's leading edge racing technology available to mortal enthusiasts. If you follow Formula-One, NASCAR, World-Sports Car, Champ or IndyCar racing, the winning teams employ calipers machined from one piece of exotic aluminium alloy. These calipers are referred to as "MonoBlock" units. In the rare air of world class motorsports, MonoBlock calipers carved from a single piece of aluminium alloy are accepted as a must to achieve the best combination of stiffness and fatigue life with minimum weight. The cost of such technology is also accepted as a "necessary evil". Prices start at $2,000 or more per caliper (that's one caliper, no pads, no rotors), and some combinations of features, such as pistons with thermal heat barriers and so on, can easily exceed $3,000 each. When MonoBlock technology first emerged this may have been a reasonable price, but today with machine tool advances, this has become nothing less than a windfall profit as current manufacturers have not moved prices to reflrct the efficiencies of production.

"6S" (SPORT)
-Spec MonoBlock calipers are the stiffest caliper ever offered for road-going use, unless of course you include Baer's own "6R" caliper in your comparison.

"6R" (RACE)
-Spec Calipers are suitable for either Sprint or Endurance racers. For Sprint duty the caliper is run with both stainless cross-bolts in place, while for Endurance races the cross-bolts are removed and the caliper is run with only the spring retention clip, making pad changes possible in just a few seconds.

EradiSpeed Rotors
EradiSpeed represents the premium line of performance rotors. Featuring the dynamic appearance of cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-coated surfaces, EradiSpeed units are also purpose cast with quality iron materials for performance for beyond the factory units they replace. Furthermore, EradiSPeed's curve-vaned design also provides greater airflow and heat dissipation.

EradiSpeed Rotors feature:
* Faster thermal recovery
* Increased heat absorption
* Increased friction and lower wear
* Cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-washed
* Limited lifetime warranty against warping

 SPEED BLEEDERS
Everyone knows that one of the most difficult parts of any brake job is finding someone willing to help you bleed the brakes. Russell Speed Bleeders can change that forever. The computer engineered and wound spring controls the movement of the centerless ground 410 stainless stell ball so that air and moisture are unable to enter the system when the brake pedal is released. Translation - you no longer have to act as a human valve, opening and closing the bleeder screw between brake pedal pumps. Open the Speed Bleeder before you start pumping the brake pedal, and close after you finish pumping dirty fluid and air out of the brake system. Worth their price in the time savings alone.
