Points Structure
The Rocket All Stars Racing Series (RARS) is a national, points based competition open to all permanent ANDRA Licence holders for participants in Groups Two, Three and Four. The series consists of selected ANDRA Championship events, culminating at the "Winternationals", after which the competitor scoring the greastest number of points in each Eliminator is entitled to carry the number 1 on their vehicle for twelve months, or until the next Winternationals event, whichever is less. • In Groups Two, Three and Four, competitors may score points at any round. • Prior to the Winternationals, the total points for each entrant will be calculated on their two best results from the series to date. This will determine the qualifying order within each division. Points accrued at the Winternationals will be added to these, to determine the overall results. • In Groups Two and Three, entrants may only accrue points as a driver/rider/bracket combination. Changes of class within the same Eliminator are permitted with no points penalty. • In Groups Two, Three and Four, all points scoring will be based on a minimum of three rounds of racing at each event. If there are less than eight (8) qualifiers, no points will be available for the first round of racing. • 50% bonus for points scored at the Westernationals, where at least one other ADRS Round is contested in the same season. • The maximum usable points total prior to the Winternationals is 200. • The top five pre qualifiers from each division in Groups Three and Four, will be guaranteed a spot in their respective Winternationals brackets. In all cases, bracket seeding will be determined by qualifying at the Winternationals. • In the event of a tie for an Eliminator Championship or the John Storm Memorial Trophy, the title will be awarded to the entrant who lasts the longest in eliminations, or who is the better performer at the event. The better performer is the competitor who performs best in relation to their dial-in or index on the last run. • Entry to the Series is automatic upon entering an RARS Round. • Where any round of the series or the Winternationals is abandoned at any point after qualifying has been completed, the minimum potential points will be awarded to competitors in Groups Two, Three and Four. • The awarding of Australian Champion honours is conditional upon the recipient contesting at least one round outside his or her home division.
